There are three catchwords that define Masala Monk: Homemade, Premium and Gourmet. Each of our products is handcrafted at home in small batches, to ensure freshness each time. We only use premium, good quality ingredients – there are no preservatives, no colors and no fillers added to enhance taste or look, as is the case with most off-the-shelf mass-produced food products. Often, our recipes are the ones that have been passed down in families since generations. Each jar that we pack is done so with the utmost care. There is no mass-production and there are no short cuts used while making our products. Each of our jars of love are packed at home, under the same supervision and care that is used for our own kitchens. We’re sure you’ll understand now exactly how our products differ from the ones available in the market. 🙂

We, at Masala Monk, inexorably believe that there’s nothing quite like the goodness of homemade food. The love, the dedication and the honesty that goes into homemade food cannot be replicated. So we bring to you a carefully curated collection of gifts. All the jars in this sampler box are homemade – with love, with the finest ingredients, and with honesty. You’ve not only received food, you’ve received a piece of someone’s heart. Use it well. Bon Appétit!

Butter Chicken Masala:

Butter Chicken Masala is a flavourful blend of handpicked, dry-roasted spices, ground to perfection
Butter chicken is one of the most popular and ordered dishes in restaurants. The aromatic golden brown and sometimes charred pieces of chicken pair so well with incredibly creamy gravy. Butter chicken is one of those dishes which is very difficult to get it right at home. The subtle notes of nutmeg, mace and pepper, the aroma of green cardamom and cinnamon, and the smokiness of Kashmiri chillies, can make a lot of difference in your butter chicken. Well, you don’t have to beat your head anymore to get the right spices to make this uber delicious dish at home since we have developed a perfect blend of spices for you.

Bharwa Masala:

Turn your ‘oh so boring vegetables’ into a surprisingly delicious spread by stuffing this Bharwa Masala before frying. Karele, baingan, bhindi, tori, tinde… these are the vegetables that comes to my mind when I think of bharwa sabzi and most of us I am sure do not like to eat these vegetables otherwise. But when a generous stuffing of bharwa masala is put inside these vegetables and then cooked, these oh so boring vegetables turn out to be surprisingly delicious. Handpicked whole spices which are roasted and ground at home to the perfect consistency (read not completely powdered) to extract the best flavours and textures out of them.
