A gourmet spice blend
Karele, baingan, bhindi, tori, tinde… these are the vegetables that comes to my mind when I think of bharwa sabzi and most of us I am sure do not like to eat these vegetables otherwise. But when a generous stuffing of bharwa masala is put inside these vegetables and then cooked, these oh so boring vegetables turn out to be surprisingly delicious.
We have been making a blend of handpicked whole spices which are roasted and ground at home to the perfect consistency (read not completely powdered) to extract the best flavours and textures out of them. This is a ready to use masala and you need not add salt or red chillies since everything is already added. Just stuff your favourite vegetables with this spice blend and cook. One can make stuffed bitter gourd, okra, apple gourd (tinde), or any other vegetable of your choice. One secret from my kitchen, use this spice blend to stuff fat green chilies and make a curry out of it and thank me later 😉A generous stuffing of bharwa masala will turn the oh so boring vegetables into surprisingly delicious
