Either chaas or raita is a must in our lunch in and we have been using a homemade chaas masala for as long as I can remember. A trip to Khari Baoli (Mecca of spices) is made, the best quality spices and herbs are selected to be used in this masala. A big batch is made and consumed through the season (one batch never lasts a season) and some of it is sent to relatives for them to relish it as well.
