‘Dilli ki Sardi’ is here again, a season which gives us the perfect reason to indulge in the delicacies for which we wait all year round.
Come to think of it, what is your favorite winter delight? For me, it’s the different varieties of winter laddoos, which are made at home for as long as I can remember. I would come home from school, throw a fuss about not liking one or the other thing on my plate, and Maa would laugh: “Tujhe toh woh laddoo hi khane hain (All you want to eat are those laddoos only)”. The memories still make me miss these divinities very fondly.
These laddoos are prepared with premium quality nuts and dry fruit like almonds (a mix of Gulbandi and California), walnuts, pistachios, raisins, cashew nuts. Instead of sugar, dates are used for sweetness. The addition of khus khus has taken these laddoos to the next gastronomical level. No taste enhancers, added colors, or added preservatives are used in making these laddoos.
