If there is one condiment that is constant in our home for the longest time I can remember is this green chutney also known as Mint and Coriander chutney. At least a jar of this chutney will always be there in our fridge. This chutney is relished with almost every meal, be it on poha in breakfast, with daal rice in lunch, with some samosas in the evening and/or with plain roti and sabzi in dinner.

We are all foodies at home and are very particular about our food. Even when we order some desi snacks, no one likes that watery, color enhanced, flavorless chutney. We mix some whisked curd in this chutney and it turns into a complete flavor bomb with snacks such as paneer tikkas, chicken tikkas, tandoori chicken, fish fry, bread pakoras, samosas, etc. We even slather a thick layer of this chutney on one slice and butter on the other slice to make chutney sandwiches.

Mint, coriander, raw mango, ginger, garlic, green chilies, onion, lemon juice, rock salt, and red chili powder.
