Shikanji or Shikanji, is what we call it at home, is a traditional limeade or lemonade made with some herbs and spices. As a kid, I would wait for school to end and as soon as I’d reach home, mom would be ready with a tall glass of Shikanji. What an ultimate summer cooler it was, and still is.
Shikanji is an excellent coolant. As the summer is setting in with soaring temperatures, this instant shikanji will keep the body cool and hydrated. This beverage will also prevent loss of sodium chloride and iron during summer due to excessive sweating.
Effective Cost : This jar comes with around 7-8 servings, making it INR 50/glass which makes it a really awesome homemade goodness alternate to the unhealthy packaged drinks. You just have to add color water and let the real herbs and spices do the magic.
