Having had a lot of dinners and lunches in Little Italy of Boston, USA. One of my favorite dishes there was a classic spaghetti in marinara sauce, of course, with a glass or few of wine. Since then, I have always made this sauce from scratch, and has been loved by all my friends and family.
Marinara is a vibrant, chunky tomato sauce used widely for pasta, pizzas, lasagnas and many more classic Italian dishes. Simple, clean but bold flavors of tomatoes, garlic, and a few herbs go a long way. This sauce is made using fresh bright red and plump tomatoes which are blanched and then cooked with garlic, herbs and finished off with freshly grated himalayan parmesan cheese.
This sauce is ready to eat. You can use it in the following ways:
– Boil some pasta and drain. In a pan, heat this sauce, and add the boiled pasta.
– Layer this sauce in your lasagna.
– Use it on your pizza
– Spread a layer on your sandwich
– Have it with your sunny side eggs
