With festivities around the corner, everyone needs something to munch on, that is rich in taste, yet healthy and of course, something that leaves a great pleasant palate on your tongue.
This Nut snack just bursts in your mouth with a sweet & salty taste…it’s a lil desi and a lil global in its approach. Nut certainly an amalgamation of yummy unputdownable snacking.
I am SUCH a sucker for sweet and salty, so this snack mix is so up my alley! I’m a little concerned that I would not be able to stop eating it ever. 😉 LOL.
I love the flavour combination in this snack mix, and of course, I can’t get enough of the sweet and salty combo! This mix would be perfect for any party!
There are as many variations of trail mix as there are stars in the sky or drops in the ocean, or rocks in my dryer. But have you ever made your own homemade trail mix, where you get to control the ingredients and keep things healthy?
First off, and perhaps most obviously, trail mix makes a fantastic snack. It’s easy to keep on hand at room temperature and it lasts a long time. I love keeping a big jar of this trail mix in the pantry as an incentive to make smarter snacktime choices. Because if I’m fighting the urge to rummage for a bag of chips and Healthy Trail Mix is staring me in the face, it’s only logical that I’m more likely to reach for a handful of fruit and nuts.
This recipe is so simple but SO delicious and impressive! I would eat way too many handfuls of this stuff 🙂 yum!
Trail mix is not only a healthier option, but it’s more satisfying to boot! That’s true whether I need a quick, ready-made snack or I end up working through breakfast or lunch. Now I’m not advocating working through mealtimes, but let’s be real…it just happens sometimes. So if I’m headed out the door to pick up my kids from school and suddenly realize that I’m famished, eating some trail mix is preferable to scarfing down half a dozen pieces of leftover chips or candies.
Oh, talk about delish! I am always looking for easy and tasty snacks (I am a total snacker), and this is fantastic!
Trail mix is also highly portable. I like to prefill small, snack-sized bags for grab-and-go snacks, there are some days that we have to eat dinner early and other days we that we have to eat dinner late and this trail mix works great as a buffer to rescue as it’s guilt-free to much and tons better than junk fill.
