Description

The very mention of Rasam at our house makes people really really happy especially my mother in law and myself. We both are such ardent fans of this humble dish that we crave for some every other day considering the cold weather of Ooty.

Rasam Powder or Rasam Podi is a must have spice mix if you are fond of Rasam Rice at home. For the uninitiated, Rasam is a South Indian equivalent of Soup which are made with variety of vegetables, herbs, even fruits.

This Rasam powder is made using best quality spices sourced from Nilgiris grown in our farms and each ingredient is roasted separately in small batches to give the powder it’s true aroma and taste.

It is a great pick-me-up for days when the skies darken and it’s wet and cold outside to warm up the body and avoid seasonal cold and coughs.

Once you open the jar, you will be instantly transported straight back to the cold hills of Nilgiris so do try this blend once and thank the Masalamonk team later 🙂
